As many of you know by now, Matt Ryan was injured by a wave at New Brighton State Beach on Sunday, January 17, 2009. On Tuesday, January 19, Matt underwent disc fusion surgery at Stanford and is now back in Santa Cruz resting and starting the healing process. As time allows, a more detailed description of Matt's accident, his surgery and the birth of his daughter 3 days after his surgery will be posted. Feel free to add a get well wish or anything else related to Matt.

Visit with Matt Sunday, January 26, 2009
Visited with Matt and he looks great. He is walking around, very coherent, both arms and hands are working great. The guy is a Stud. He gave a detailed description of how he was injured, and when I have time, I will come back and post some details.
